We perform a vast variety of security research, both offensive and defensive. Our team has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in common software such as browsers, server side software, web applications/frameworks (e.g. Apple, Google, Microsoft). We do research on Windows, Linux, OS X, mobile and embedded platforms both kernel and user space (ring 0 ring 3). Some of the results can be found in the advisories and publications section above.
We have experience in source code review, reverse engineering exploit development and fuzzing. BlackOwlSec can deliver highly customized red/blue teaming tools for our customers (both for internal and external consulting use) and perform targeted security research for applications, platforms or devices.
